How many players in Teen Patti?
Three at minimum, four to six at its best, ten before it stops being fun.
Three to six players is the usual range. Four to six is best. Ten is the practical ceiling, and two does not really work.
What each count feels like

The deck is rarely the constraint. Even ten players use only thirty of fifty-two cards — the limit is how long a betting round takes, not how many cards remain.
Why two players does not work
Teen Patti is a betting game, not a card game. The cards cannot be improved after the deal, so everything that happens is how much you are willing to spend.
With two players, that collapses. There is nobody still to act after you, no pot building across several callers, and the sideshow — a private comparison between two seen players — has no third party to make it meaningful.
For two players, Rummy or Blackjack works far better.
Why four to six is the sweet spot
Enough players that a pot builds through several rounds of calls. Few enough that a hand finishes before anyone loses interest.
It also keeps the hand probabilities meaningful: with six players, someone at the table probably holds a pair, which is what makes a colour worth betting on.
The boot stays the same either way
Every player posts the boot before the deal regardless of how many are playing. More players simply means a larger starting pot, which is part of why larger tables feel higher-stakes even at the same boot.

Can two people play Teen Patti?
Mechanically yes, but the game loses most of what makes it work. Blind and seen betting and the sideshow all depend on there being players still to act after you.

Four to six. Enough players for the betting to build a pot, few enough that the deck comfortably supplies three cards each with room to spare.
How many cards are used in Teen Patti?
Three per player from a single 52-card deck with the jokers removed. Six players uses eighteen cards, so the deck is never close to running out.
Is there a maximum number of players in Teen Patti?
Seventeen in theory — 52 divided by 3. In practice ten is the sensible limit, because beyond that the betting rounds take longer than the hands.
Does the number of players change the hand rankings?
No. Trail beats pure sequence beats sequence beats colour beats pair beats high card, whether there are three players or ten.
