How to play Dragon Tiger
The shortest card game in this collection. One decision, two cards, and it is over.
Pick a side. Two cards are dealt. Higher rank wins.
The ace is the lowest card and the king the highest. Matching ranks are a tie and nobody wins.
The four steps
- Pick a side — Dragon or Tiger, before anything is dealt. This is the only decision you make.
- Two cards are dealt face up, one to each side, from a shuffled 52-card deck.
- Compare the ranks. Higher wins, ace low, king high, suits ignored.
- Resolve. Matching ranks are a tie.
There is no step five. No drawing, no second round of cards, no decisions after the deal begins.

The one thing to learn first
The reversed card order. Everything else about this game is obvious within one round, but an ace losing to a two contradicts what Teen Patti and Rummy have taught most players.

Both cards are dealt face up with nothing to decide in between. Once the deck is shuffled, every round's outcome is already fixed.
