Where the ace is low and where it is high
The same card is the strongest in one game and the weakest in another. Six rule sets, one table, counted from the deck.
An ace is the highest card in Teen Patti and Call Break, the lowest in Dragon Tiger, and counts at both ends in Rummy. In Blackjack it is worth one or eleven, whichever helps.
Nothing about the card changes. Only the rule does.

Three different answers to one question. A player moving between games at the same table carries the wrong instinct with them, and the ace is where it shows first.
The two that catch people out
Dragon Tiger. The ace is beaten by every other card, including the two. Against 2,652 possible deals the ace wins only when the other side also shows an ace, which is a tie rather than a win. See Dragon Tiger game rules.
Rummy. The ace runs at both ends but not around the corner — A-2-3 is a sequence, Q-K-A is a sequence, K-A-2 is not. It also carries ten points if it is stranded, the same as a face card. See pure sequence in Rummy.
In Teen Patti the ace is simply the top card, with one twist: A-2-3 ranks as the highest sequence rather than the lowest, which three of seven published sources confirm.
Why the orders differ
The order follows what the game asks you to do. Games that compare two cards want a clean ladder — Dragon Tiger puts the ace at the bottom so every rank has exactly one position.
Games that build runs need the ace at both ends, because a sequence has to start and finish somewhere. Games that count toward a total need a value, not a rank, which is why Blackjack lets the ace be one or eleven.

Common questions
Is the ace high or low in card games?
It depends on the game. Highest in Teen Patti and Call Break, lowest in Dragon Tiger, both ends in Rummy, and worth one or eleven in Blackjack.
Which card game has the ace as the lowest card?
Dragon Tiger. Every other card beats it, including the two — the reverse of most Indian card games.
Can the ace be used at both ends of a rummy sequence?
Yes. A-2-3 and Q-K-A are both valid. K-A-2 is not — the sequence cannot wrap around.
What is the card rank order in Teen Patti?
Two through ten, then jack, queen, king and ace. A-2-3 ranks as the highest sequence rather than the lowest.
Does card rank matter in Andar Bahar?
No. Only whether a dealt card matches the rank of the centre card. Nothing is higher or lower than anything else.
