Dragon Tiger card order
Thirteen ranks, one comparison, and an ordering that runs backwards from what an Indian player expects.
The ace is the lowest card. The king is the highest.
Order runs A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K. A two beats an ace, which is the reverse of Teen Patti and Rummy and the single most common misread in the game.

Why this trips people up
Every other game on this site puts the ace at or near the top. In Teen Patti three aces is the best hand in the deck. In Rummy the ace works at both ends of a run. In Blackjack it is worth eleven.
Dragon Tiger does none of that. The ace is simply the number one, and one is the smallest number. Players arriving from Teen Patti routinely watch an ace lose to a two and assume the app is broken.
Suits are ignored completely
There is no suit hierarchy. The king of clubs and the king of hearts are the same card as far as the comparison is concerned.
That is not a simplification — it is the mechanism that creates ties. If suits broke the tie there would be no such thing as a tied round, and Dragon Tiger probability would resolve differently.
How many cards beat yours
With thirteen ranks and no suit ordering, the arithmetic is simple: a card at position n beats n−1 ranks, loses to 13−n, and ties with its own.
A seven sits exactly in the middle — six ranks below it, six above. An eight is the first card that is genuinely favoured, and a jack or better wins the great majority of comparisons.
