What this is. A Dragon Tiger card game. Two cards are dealt face up, the higher rank wins, and the round is over.

Free to download and free to play on Google Play.

AK
The ace loses to the king. In Dragon Tiger the ace is the lowest card, not the highest.

The rule set it implements

Standard Dragon Tiger, with the reversed card order that catches out every new player: the ace is the lowest card and the king is the highest. Suits are ignored entirely.

If you have come from Teen Patti or Rummy, where the ace sits at the top, expect to misread your first few rounds. The Dragon Tiger rules covers the full ordering.

Ties

Both cards can share a rank, in which case neither side wins. This happens on roughly one deal in thirteen, which is often enough that you will see several in a session.

The Dragon Tiger odds works out the exact figures across all 2,652 possible deals.

What it is not

There is no skill component, and the app does not pretend otherwise. Both cards are dealt face up with no decisions in between — once the deck is shuffled the outcome is already fixed.

If you want a card game where your decisions determine the result, our Call Break and Rummy games are the ones to look at instead.

Requirements

Android. Rounds resolve on two cards, so the game is small and quick to load.

In-game points are virtual and non-redeemable. They have no value outside the app and cannot be exchanged for anything.

What is in the app

A two-card table with nothing to configure and nothing to learn beyond the card order.

  • One card to Dragon, one to Tiger, higher rank wins
  • Ace low and king high — the reverse of most card games
  • Ties when both cards share a rank
  • Virtual non-redeemable points only

Rounds finish in seconds, which makes it the game for the gaps rather than the sittings. The Dragon Tiger odds works out exactly how often each outcome comes up.

Common questions

Is the ace high or low in Dragon Tiger Clash Cards?

Low. The ace is the weakest card and the king is the strongest, which is the reverse of most card games.

How often is a round a tie in Dragon Tiger Clash Cards?

About 7.69 percent of deals, roughly one in thirteen. After the first card is dealt, three of the remaining fifty-one cards share its rank.

Does Dragon Tiger Clash Cards involve real money?

No. There are no deposits, withdrawals, cash prizes or items of monetary value.

Is there any strategy in Dragon Tiger?

No. Both cards are dealt face up with no decisions in between, so nothing a player does affects the outcome.

Is Dragon Tiger Clash Cards free?

Yes. It is free to download and free to play, with no purchase required for any part of it.
