A natural blackjack traditionally pays 3 to 2. Some tables pay 6 to 5.

Why 6 to 5 matters more than it looks
The change is presented as small — one ratio replaced with another. But it applies to the best hand in the game, the one you were rewarded for holding.
A blackjack appears roughly once every twenty-one hands. Over a long session that is a lot of hands paying twenty percent less than they should. It is the first number to check at any real table, and it is usually printed on the felt.
A natural beats a three-card 21
Twenty-one built from an ace and a ten-value card on the first two cards is a natural. Twenty-one built from three or more cards is just twenty-one.
The natural wins the comparison and pays the blackjack rate. Three-card twenty-one pays even money like any other win. Same total, different hands.
How often a blackjack appears
Four aces and sixteen ten-value Blackjack cards in a 52-card deck, and either order counts — ace first or ten first.
That works out to roughly 4.8 percent of hands, or about one in twenty-one. A neat coincidence, and a useful one to remember.
Pushes
A push is a tie: you and the dealer finish on the same total and nothing changes hands. Both holding blackjack is the most common case.
A push is not a loss, but it is not a win either — and on a hand where you held a blackjack it feels like one, because that hand should have paid.
