The tie figure comes straight out: 52 × 3 = 156 ordered pairs where the second card matches... except each rank has four cards, so the count is 52 × 3 = 156 for the second position, giving 204 once every ordering is counted across the full 2,652. The remaining 2,448 deals split exactly in half, because there is no rule anywhere in the game that treats Dragon differently from Tiger.
Perfect symmetry, and why that is unusual
Most card games have some structural asymmetry. In Andar Bahar the side dealt to first gets a slight edge, and which side that is depends on the colour of the centre card. In Blackjack the dealer acts last. In Teen Patti position affects your betting information.
Dragon Tiger has none of that. Both cards are dealt simultaneously from the same deck under identical rules. The names are decoration — swap them and nothing at all changes.
There is no skill component
Worth stating plainly, because the calculation makes it obvious. Both cards are dealt face up with no decisions in between, no cards held back, and no information revealed progressively.
Once the deck is shuffled, every round's outcome is already determined. Nothing a player does between the shuffle and the reveal can change it. This is what separates Dragon Tiger from Call Break or Rummy, where the decisions you make genuinely determine the result.
